The lab exists because some tools are more useful when they run under my own control and can be reached from outside the home network.

It grew out of local experiments with Linux, Docker, Portainer, Caddy, routing and the need to make private services reachable in a clean way.

The real work is often not the container itself, but the edges around it: routing, environment files, backups, smoke checks and clear rollback notes.
